Help us build the future of
community living.
Association Ally is a small, fast-moving team on a mission to make HOA life better for millions of residents and the managers who serve them. Come build with us.
💡 We're an early-stage startup — every person we hire has real ownership and real impact from day one.
You'll be the first point of contact for our property management partners — onboarding new communities, making sure their documents are set up correctly, and helping them get the most out of Association Ally. You'll also be our ears on the ground, bringing customer feedback directly into product decisions.
This is a foundational role. You won't just be managing accounts — you'll be shaping what great customer success looks like at Association Ally.
- Onboard new HOA communities and property management companies
- Guide managers through uploading documents and configuring their dashboard
- Proactively check in with customers to ensure they're seeing value
- Handle support requests and escalate product issues when needed
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Capture and share customer feedback with the product team
- 2+ years in a customer success, account management, or property management role
- Comfortable learning new software quickly and explaining it clearly
- Strong communicator — friendly, patient, and professional
- Experience with HOA or property management is a big plus
- Self-starter who thrives in an early-stage environment
You'll be joining as an early engineer — one of the first technical hires — helping us build and scale the Association Ally platform. Our stack is Node.js on the backend with a modern frontend, and we're deeply integrated with the Anthropic Claude API and Twilio.
You'll work across the full stack: improving our AI pipeline, building new dashboard features, scaling infrastructure, and shaping our engineering culture from the ground up.
- Build and improve features across the backend API and manager dashboard
- Work with the Claude API to improve answer quality and document processing
- Build out our multi-tenant infrastructure as we onboard more communities
- Improve reliability, performance, and observability of the platform
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions as we scale
- 3+ years of full stack experience, ideally Node.js and modern JavaScript
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (we're on Render, moving toward AWS)
- Experience with AI/LLM APIs is a strong plus
- Product-minded — you think about users, not just code
- Excited by the challenge of building something from early stage to scale
Every new HOA community that joins Association Ally needs to be set up for success — their documents uploaded, their team trained, and their residents informed. That's where you come in.
As our Community Onboarding Specialist, you'll own the experience from signed contract to fully live community. You'll become an expert in HOA governing documents and help property managers get the most out of the platform from day one.
- Guide new communities through the full setup process end-to-end
- Review uploaded HOA documents and ensure they're formatted correctly for the AI
- Train property managers on the dashboard and manager inbox features
- Create onboarding materials, FAQs, and help documentation
- Work closely with Customer Success to ensure a smooth handoff after launch
- Identify patterns in onboarding friction and suggest process improvements
- Organized, detail-oriented, and great at explaining things clearly
- Experience in HOA management, property management, or real estate is a big plus
- Comfortable working with PDFs and document management
- Patient and empathetic — you'll be working with people who aren't always tech-savvy
- Excited to help build processes from scratch in an early-stage company
